Considerations of Class and Aesthetics in Curating

This paper serves as an investigation into the difference between art shows in the New York Art World versus art shows outside of the New York Art World, including "DIY" projects. As someone who has been involved in both, my goal is eradicate the harsh separation between the two, facilitate inclusive spaces, and urge the New York Art World to become accepting of art shows outside of their parameters.
