Mindful critique (MC11) - Perspectives on the challenges encountered during interviews – revisiting reality and documenting harsh truths
This post describes the author's experiences while navigating a construct of never-ending interviews with none of them leading to a respectable role. It decries the absence of merit-based assessment criteria and the refusal of the panel to delve on questions directly relevant to patient care. It also ponders on why the interviewers did not make a conscious effort to get answers from the candidate, who seemed to meet most of the eligibility criteria and remained well-suited for the role.
