Know when, how to use executive sessions for tricky board issues

For seasoned nonprofit boards and executive directors, knowing how and when to call an executive session may be old hat. But for less experienced boards and EDs/CEOs, the use of executive sessions could cause problems if not done correctly and for the right reasons, experts say.
