Research Data of "Miniaturized Yet Scalable: A Novel 3D-Printed Corrugated-Sheet Packing for Laboratory Distillation" Article
This dataset contains the experimental records and evaluated data supporting the manuscript “Miniaturized Yet Scalable: A Novel 3D-Printed Corrugated-Sheet Packing for Laboratory Distillation.” The data include measured and calculated values from total-reflux distillation experiments with the cyclohexane/n-heptane standard test mixture at 900 mbar. Covered packings include CAZ-Pak in DN20, DN30, and DN50 columns, as well as XW-Pak, Artist, ArtistPTNR, and Sulzer DXM comparison cases. The dataset contains packing information, pressure and pressure drop data, mass flow data, temperature measurements, composition data, physical properties, relative volatility, theoretical-stage values, HETP values, propagated uncertainties, and additional experiment-specific notes. It is intended to support reproducibility of the figures, calculations, and performance comparisons reported in the associated publication.
