NFOS: An Event-Driven, Execution-Aware Architecture for Multi-Venue Opportunity Discovery in Decentralized Finance

Decentralized financial markets present an execution environment characterized by fragmented liquidity, heterogeneous blockchain architectures, asynchronous state transitions, rapid price changes, variable transaction costs, adversarial transaction ordering, and multiple sources of temporary capital. This paper presents the architecture and proposed empirical evaluation of the Novra Financial Operating System (NFOS), an event-driven, AI-augmented financial execution system designed to unify real-time blockchain observation, canonical asset identity, candidate generation, executable-price analysis, liquidity routing, multi-chain market intelligence, deterministic safety constraints, private transaction submission, and realized-outcome feedback. The architecture focuses on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Base and separates market hypotheses from execution authority: probabilistic intelligence may generate or rank candidates, while deterministic economic and safety constraints independently determine whether a transaction is eligible for execution. The paper specifies the system architecture, mathematical opportunity model, research hypotheses, experimental methodology, evaluation metrics, preliminary bounded measurements, and limitations required to evaluate the system without presupposing profitability.

Abstract

Decentralized financial markets present an execution environment characterized by fragmented liquidity, heterogeneous blockchain architectures, asynchronous state transitions, rapid price changes, variable transaction costs, adversarial transaction ordering, and multiple sources of temporary capital. This paper presents the architecture and proposed empirical evaluation of the Novra Financial Operating System (NFOS), an event-driven, AI-augmented financial execution system designed to unify real-time blockchain observation, canonical asset identity, candidate generation, executable-price analysis, liquidity routing, multi-chain market intelligence, deterministic safety constraints, private transaction submission, and realized-outcome feedback. The architecture focuses on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Base and separates market hypotheses from execution authority: probabilistic intelligence may generate or rank candidates, while deterministic economic and safety constraints independently determine whether a transaction is eligible for execution. The paper specifies the system architecture, mathematical opportunity model, research hypotheses, experimental methodology, evaluation metrics, preliminary bounded measurements, and limitations required to evaluate the system without presupposing profitability.
