The Originating Zero: Why the Riemann Zeros, α = 1/137, and Black Holes Are Manifestations of the Same Principle

In 1972, Hugh Montgomery showed Freeman Dyson the pair-correlation function of the zeros of the Riemann zeta function. Dyson recognized it as identical to the eigenvalue spacing of random matrices used to model nuclear energy levels — specifically Uranium-238, the most Yin atom (the most expanded, the heaviest). In 2021, Betzios, Gaddam and Papadoulaki showed that the same spectral structure corresponds to the scattering matrix dynamics at the event horizon of a Schwarzschild black hole.A mathematical pattern originating in the distribution of prime numbers appears identically in atomic nuclei and in black holes. No one has explained why. This paper proposes that the reason has been invisible because of a categorical error: 167 years of research have asked WHERE the zeros are and WHAT mechanism produces them. No one has asked WHY they are fixed at 1/2 — what PRINCIPLE holds them there. We observe that this situation is structurally identical to that of the fine-structure constant α = 1/137, and that 12 Theorems written from 1929 onward by George Ohsawa — in particular the 10th Theorem ("Yin repels Yin and Yang repels Yang") — provide the answer that mathematics has sought for 167 years. The paper further shows that Aristotle's formal logic — the foundation of all Western science — contains an internal contradiction that its own author had recognized ("the whole is greater than the sum of its parts") and that quantum mechanics has confirmed: the logic of separation (A OR not-A) collapses at the fundamental level of matter, where everything is A AND not-A simultaneously — exactly as predicted by Ohsawa's 7th Theorem from 1929 onward.
