The Self-Referential Immune System of the Cosmic Organism: A Cross-Scale Unified Theory of the Minimum Energy Manifestation Law (MEL) — In-Depth Interpretation of the MEL Law in Yuanxian Theory

The Cosmic Organism Law (COL) states that the universe is a self-inspection closed chain; the Dichotomous Cognition Law (DCL) states that self-inspection is executed through binary judgments; the Hexad Closure Law (HCL) states the structural dimensions of self-inspection. However, when the closed chain detects damage, in what manner, by what path, and at what rate does the damage signal release? This is determined by the fourth meta-law — the Minimum Energy Manifestation Law (MEL). This paper establishes: MEL is the constitutive law of the self-referential immune system of the cosmic organism, operating across all scales from microscopic quantum fluctuations to macroscopic social changes. It projects the topological damage signals detected in the closed-chain self-inspection to each projection surface layer by layer under the global minimum-energy constraint, giving every local node the opportunity to read, respond, and repair. The paper constructs the variational-principle mathematical form of MEL, proves its compatibility with the six-layer projection-surface structure of HCL, and argues that natural phenomena (mass extinctions, species endangerment, geological disasters, epidemics, social crises) appear as “warning signals” under the constraint of MEL. It also establishes the cross-scale isomorphism between MEL and the immune system of the Earth organism, showing that from single-cell inflammatory response to ecosystem succession and to the rise and fall of civilizations, all follow the same minimum-energy release law. Ultimately, the paper establishes MEL as the “minimum-energy regulatory law” of self-maintenance for the cosmic organism — it both maintains global closed-chain integrity and prevents system collapse caused by imbalance of damage signals, and it supplies cross-scale unified formal evidence.
