Closure Rank, Gauge Carriers, and Canonical Representations Reconstruction, Dimensional Compression, and the 1→2→3 Generative Gauge Hierarchy
We develop a reconstruction-theoretic formulation of the 1 → 2 → 3 closure-carrier hierarchy proposed in infratier closure physics. The construction begins with nested disclosure maps and their fibers, then replaces an initially postulated atomic residue with an order-theoretic cover condition. A finite reconstruction functional 𝜅: 2 𝐸 → ℕ, satisfying normalization, monotonicity, unit-bounded growth, and submodularity, induces a closure operator with exchange and hence a matroidal rank geometry. Elementary covers increase closure rank by one. Under faithful minimal complex realization, the first three nonzero closure ranks are represented by ℂ, ℂ 2 , and ℂ 3. Rank growth alone does not terminate at three. A separate typed phase-spatial hypothesis is therefore required. The primitive effective disclosure value 𝑑⋆ = 𝜋 is written exactly as 3 + (𝜋 − 3), where the integer sector is interpreted as ordinary rank-three support and the fractional residue as rank-neutral phase-like disclosure. If ordinary closure is faithfully represented on the complexification of this support, then the maximum ordinary reconstruction rank is three. The identity 𝛬 4ℂ 3 = 0 becomes an exterior-algebra certificate of the same support boundary rather than the sole stopping assumption. Continued scalar compression beyond rank saturation has 𝛥𝑑 < 0 but 𝛥𝜅 = 0, giving a precise definition of closure exhaustion. The carrier hierarchy does not by itself imply 𝑈(1), 𝑆𝑈(2), and 𝑆𝑈(3). A Hermitian rank-𝑛 carrier has stabilizer 𝑈(𝑛). Rank one retains continuous phase freedom and therefore supports 𝑈(1); at ranks two and three, preservation of a nonzero complex top form, or equivalently determinant-neutral closure under the stated bundle conditions, reduces the stabilizer to 𝑆𝑈(2) and 𝑆𝑈(3). If complete closure frames form smooth torsors for these groups, they assemble into principal bundles with standard connections and curvature. Finally, the carriers generate canonical representation families through duals, exterior powers, tensor products, symmetric powers, and traceless endomorphisms. In particular, 𝛬 •ℂ 2 = 𝟏 ⊕ 𝟐 ⊕ 𝟏 and 𝛬 •ℂ 3 = 𝟏 ⊕ 𝟑 ⊕ 𝟑 ⊕ 𝟏, while the traceless endomorphism representations are 𝟑 and 𝟖. The result is not a derivation of the Standard Model. Hypercharge, electric-charge normalization, weak chirality, matter generations, anomaly cancellation, couplings, symmetry breaking, masses, and confinement remain open. The contribution is a modular generative architecture in which each bridge has explicit assumptions and falsification conditions.
