Structural Continuity Without Identity Continuity - Successor Relations, Structural Carryover, and Continuing Consequences after Transmutation

La Profilée (LP) separates continued existence (Q1) from continued identity (Q2). In directed transmutation, a determinate successor exists, yet the predecessor is no longer the same persister: the predecessor’s identity-history closes, the successor receives its own constitutive reference frame, and later verdicts belong to the successor. Read alone, this can sound like complete discontinuity. Read together with LP’s accounts of succession, historical foreclosure, exteriority, propagation, and level-relative constitution, it entails a more exact result: identity can end while structural history, transmitted conditions, load, and consequences continue. The successor is neither the predecessor nor an unrelated clean beginning. This paper gathers and derives that consequence in one place. It distinguishes three claims that must not be conflated: the predecessor’s status as the successor’s prehistory, which follows from directed transmutation; the carryover of particular persistence-relevant structures or constraints, which requires a transmission or retention path; and the continuation of external effects, which may persist even when there is no successor. It further shows that a reset of the successor’s reference frame is an identity reset, not a causal or material reset; that carried elements must be retyped relative to the successor rather than assumed to keep their former Frame, Module, or Coupling role; and that propagated load can be inherited without predecessor capacity. The result introduces no new primitive, verdict, regime, or universal role. It closes a relation already distributed across the LP core and clarifies a recurrent cross-domain form: new identity, inherited conditions, continuing consequences. CENTRAL CLAIM A successor may be structurally continuous with, historically conditioned by, and causally burdened by a predecessor without being identical to it. Q2 = No ends the old identity; it does not make the successor unrelated and it does not reset the world.
