The Equipoise Principle: Exchange-Invariant Geometry of Bipartite Readings and the Unique K4 Solitonic Closure

This technical note develops the exact mathematical core of the Equipoise Principle: a calculus for positive bipartite readings represented as curves in the logarithmic plane. The logarithmic slope n = d ln S2 / d ln S1 is clock-free but not invariant under exchange of the two parts. The note derives the exchange law, constructs the genuine unordered balance invariants J1 = 2v/(1+v^2) and J2 = s/(1+v^2), and formulates a complete local jet theory at the balance diagonal, a flow-reconstruction theorem, and a weighted power-mean family that embeds sum, product, and black-hole-evaporation readings in one exact hierarchy. Normalization maps every reading to the Bernoulli simplex, giving a rigorous information-geometric embedding: theta is the natural parameter, the Fisher-Rao metric and dual entropy potentials are identified, and the corrected Fisher turning jet J2F = J2 + J1/4 is derived. For cosmology, a profile-matching argument is replaced by a uniqueness theorem. If the dark-energy density is proportional to the squared speed of its order parameter in e-fold time (the canonical BPS or solitonic closure), the continuity equation and the two vacuum boundary conditions force 1 + w = tanh(du/4), rho_DE proportional to sech^4(du/4), and Delta = 4/d. In three spatial dimensions this is precisely the K4 model, and the exact algebraic invariant r(2+w)^4 = 1 follows without fitting. Two previously unreported, parameter-free background results are deposited here for priority. (i) Golden-ratio exit theorem: cosmic acceleration ends exactly at a/a_x = phi^2, where phi is the golden ratio, with w_exit = -1/phi^2 and Omega_m,exit = (3 - sqrt(5))/6; at the representative values z_x = 0.338 and H0 = 67.71 km/s/Mpc the exit lies at z = -0.48893, about 12.7 Gyr from the present, and the far future is a decelerating scaling regime with Omega_m = 1/17 (no de Sitter phase). (ii) Golden-mirror corollary: the equation-of-state mirror w(u) + w(-u) = -2 places an exact past twin of the exit state at 1 + z_phi = (1 + z_x) phi^2, i.e. z_phi = 2.50293 for the representative crossing, where w = -phi, inside the current Lyman-alpha window. A pre-specified high-redshift consistency protocol is registered: low-redshift and CMB calibrations are frozen before the high-redshift vector is inspected; the full (DH/rd, DM/rd) vector is predicted with no additional dark-energy parameter; the K4 expansion rate at z_phi lies about 1.4 percent below flat LCDM at equal (H0, Omega_m0). The note strictly separates theorem, modeling closure, observational likelihood, and proposed microphysics. It does not audit previously reported likelihood values; the dark-energy fraction at the mirror epoch is only about 2 percent, so the mirror is a consistency target, not a claimed detection; the solitonic closure rho_DE proportional to (chi')^2 is an explicit modeling postulate; and a covariant microphysical Lagrangian remains an open problem. Abstract
