From Decision Experience to Decision Patrimony (Patrimônio Decisório): An Intertemporal Conceptual Architecture for Structuring, Preserving, and Mobilizing Knowledge in Human Decision-Making

This working paper introduces DECISIO as an integrative research framework for investigating how decision experiences can be structured, preserved, and mobilized across time. Following an adversarial prior-art audit, the paper explicitly recognizes established antecedents in organizational and decision memory, Decision Analysis, Decision Quality, case-based reasoning, decision rationale, forecasting and calibration, provenance, process memory, and feedback-based learning. The remaining scientific contribution is deliberately formulated as an integration hypothesis: whether persistently coupling the ex ante epistemic state, alternatives and rationale, expectations, decision, outcome, later knowledge, and learning—and retrieving this trajectory jointly and contrastively in subsequent decisions—produces incremental explanatory or process benefits over conventional decision memory and related antecedent approaches. Decision Patrimony (Patrimônio Decisório) is therefore presented as a candidate construct rather than an established theory or validated asset. Its autonomy remains subject to systematic review, empirical validation, discriminant validity, and incremental testing. This Version 2.0 is a public working paper, post-adversarial audit, pre-empirical validation, and pre-peer review. This Zenodo record contains both the English and Brazilian Portuguese editions of DECISIO Working Paper No. 001, Version 2.0.
