From Institution to Genesis: Ontological Systems Fiction and the Progressive Acquisition of Authority Over Existence

This paper establishes Ontological Systems Fiction as a third emerging genre architecture within the Martinez Architectonic System, alongside Mythotechnic Fiction and Meta-Mythic Delphic Fiction. Ontological Systems Fiction concerns narratives in which persons, institutions, civilizations, intelligences, gods, or other organized systems gain access to, contest, administer, modify, terminate, reproduce, or create the conditions that determine what forms of existence are possible. Its governing mechanism is Ontological Transfer, the movement from being governed by a condition of existence to possessing operational authority over the system that produces or regulates that condition. The paper identifies five founding operating modes: Institutional Apotheosis, Recursive Cosmological Fiction, Eschatological Engineering, Theogonic Systems Fiction, and Genesis Systems Fiction. It also develops Ontological Condition, Ontological System, Ontological Jurisdiction, Ontological Domination, structural qualification criteria, scope boundaries, portability, and creator responsibility. Version 1.3 documents the interdisciplinary and creative development of the larger architecture from 2006 through 2026, distinguishing intellectual formation, creative development, publication, formal naming, theoretical formalization, and later empirical testing. The paper argues that the concentration of publications in 2026 represents the public organization and formalization of work developed across approximately twenty years, rather than the beginning of the underlying creative and intellectual trajectory. The study also formalizes Chronological Authority, Architectonic Authorship, Generative Cosmology, the Living Framework Principle, and the Research Evolution Principle. Earlier hypotheses may be retained, revised, recalibrated, or superseded as new fiction, theory, comparative evidence, and empirical testing produce stronger explanatory models. The earlier nine-of-twelve dimensional qualification threshold is therefore preserved as part of the historical research record but is no longer an operative genre criterion. The paper incorporates the exploratory work-level findings reported in Beyond Containment and distinguishes those results from future independent validation. Ontological Systems Fiction remains an emerging founder-stage architecture whose continued development will be tested through the completed fictional corpus, negative cases, independent classification, portability, larger comparative samples, and continued revision. Abstract
