Review on Epidemiology of Sheep Pox and Goat Pox in Ethiopia

This review summarizes the epidemiology, clinical characteristics, transmission, diagnosis, treatment, prevention and control of sheep pox and goat pox (SGP), with particular emphasis on Ethiopia. It synthesizes available evidence on disease occurrence, risk factors, transmission, diagnostic approaches and control strategies, and highlights gaps in surveillance, reporting, diagnostic capacity, vaccination and outbreak management in Ethiopia.
