Disaster preparedness and service continuity in primary healthcare centers: a systematic review and structured contextual evidence synthesis

This project contains the protocol documentation and supporting materials for a completed systematic review of disaster preparedness and service continuity in primary healthcare centers. The final evidence base comprises 74 unique publications: 15 primary empirical PHC studies and 59 contextual publications included in a structured contextual evidence synthesis. PubMed was searched on 27 June 2026, while Scopus, ProQuest, and OpenAlex were searched on 30 June 2026; a full-text retrieval update and Q1–Q4 filter audit were completed in July 2026. This project was created after completion of the review and does not constitute prospective registration or preregistration. It provides transparent access to the protocol as conducted, search documentation, amendment and audit records, the historical Watase output, evidence-base reconciliation, extraction and coding matrices, critical-appraisal records, two-reviewer consensus documentation, supplementary materials, and audited PRISMA materials. The project is intended to support a retrospective, post-completion OSF registration and to allow editors, reviewers, and readers to verify consistency between the documented methods and the submitted manuscript.
