Pedagogy of Anti-Corruption Education: Conceptual Foundations and Implementation Tools

This article examines key aspects of anti-corruption education pedagogy, from fundamental concepts to practical tools for their implementation within the framework of the "Legal Foundations of Professional Activity" course taught at the Faculty of History at Tver State University. The author analyzes the conceptual foundations of developing anti-corruption standards of civic behavior and proposes tools for fostering an intolerant attitude toward corruption in students. The aim of the study was to analyze the conceptual foundations and pedagogical tools of anti-corruption education. This goal was achieved by incorporating data from a student survey on corruption in the education system. The study's hypothesis was that pedagogical methods and approaches aimed at developing anti-corruption standards of behavior, moral values, and a worldview in the educational process help reduce individuals' predisposition to corrupt behavior and foster a society that does not tolerate corruption. The author is convinced that anti-corruption education in educational institutions is a holistic system integrated with legal, spiritual, and moral education. Its ultimate goal is to develop an anti-corruption worldview in students, expressed in a rejection of corruption as a way of thinking and acting. This strategic goal is concretized in a threefold task: first, developing political and legal knowledge about the nature of corruption and mechanisms for combating it; second, internalizing moral and ethical values (honesty, fairness, responsibility) that make corrupt behavior personally unacceptable; and third, acquiring practical experience in interacting with and solving real-life problems within a legal framework. The author of this article shares practical experience in implementing an anti-corruption education model at a university.
