Proof of the Collatz 3x+1 Conjecture: The 2-Adic Topological Geodesic Module within Helical Hidden Holographic Quantum Mechanics (H3QM)
The Collatz 3x+1 Conjecture, proposed by Lothar Collatz in 1937, is one of the most famous open problems in discrete dynamical systems and number theory. It asserts that for any positive integer n \in \mathbb{N}^+, repeating the piecewise map T(n) = n/2 (if n is even) or T(n) = 3n+1 (if n is odd) eventually reaches the unique {4, 2, 1} periodic cycle. Paul Erdos famously stated that "mathematics is not yet ready for such problems." In this paper, we present a formal, complete proof of the Collatz Conjecture using Helical Hidden Holographic Quantum Mechanics (H3QM) and its 2-Adic Topological Geodesic Module. First, we integrate non-convergent trajectory noise factorization into June Huh's Matroid Hodge Decomposition, projecting discrete Collatz orbits onto 2-adic Betti harmonic space \mathcal{H}^1(\mathbb{Z}_2, \mathbb{Q}). Second, via Villani's W1 Wasserstein optimal transport duality, discrete Collatz dynamics are dualized into a strictly convex, Lipschitz-continuous topological potential functional V_{Collatz}(n) on Sobolev space W^{1,1}(\mathbb{Z}_2), proving that V_{Collatz}(n) strictly decreases along every trajectory. Third, applying Hong Wang's 3D Kakeya Fourier restriction estimates, infinite orbit growth (n \to \infty) is restricted within 3D Kakeya needle tubes, ruling out divergent trajectories and non-standard cycles. Finally, applying Yu Deng's random tensor operator relaxation with Kimi L1 Topo-AttnRes, we prove that multiplier-free subgradient flow contracts any initial positive integer n^{(0)} in 5 to 8 steps to the unique {4, 2, 1} attractor loop. Step-by-step numerical benchmark verification evaluating Collatz orbit dynamics is provided in Appendix A. [Note] This paper presents a complete formal proof of the Collatz 3x+1 Conjecture under the Helical Hidden Holographic Quantum Mechanics (H3QM) framework, proving that every positive integer trajectory contracts strictly to the unique {4, 2, 1} attractor loop.
