SCORE: Single-Camera Shot Chart Generator

SCORE (Shot Charting via Optimized Release Estimation) is an applied computer vision pipeline that automatically generates basketball shot charts from a single broadcast camera. Designed with high school basketball in mind, SCORE combines object detection, temporal frame analysis, and dynamic homography estimation to identify shot locations while working within the constraints of standard Hudl game footage. By emphasizing practical usability over state-of-the-art model development, the project explores how existing computer vision techniques can be engineered into an accessible, low-cost analytics tool for coaches and teams.
