An Early Implementation Assessment of an Inclusive Admission Policy for Economically Challenged College Applicants
This preprint examines the development and early implementation of an inclusive admission policy for economically challenged college applicants in a selected Philippine state university. Drawing on institutional documents, interviews, and anonymized applicant records, it discusses the policy’s provisions, applicants’ economic and social circumstances, implementation concerns, and measures for improving the fairness and responsiveness of admission services. The study does not assess long-term outcomes because the policy was in its first year of implementation. This manuscript has not undergone formal peer review.
