Активні мінеральні суміші як фактор регулювання реології та фізико-механічних властивостей бетонів та будівельних розчинів

This article highlights key issues regarding the use of fly ash from thermal power stations as an effective mineral additive with plasticising properties in concrete and mortar mixtures. The article demonstrates the feasibility of its application, taking into account the need to improve the performance of building materials and reduce their negative impact on the environment. The physical and mineralogical mechanisms of the plasticising effect are examined, which ensure an improvement in the rheological characteristics of the mixtures, a reduction in the water-cement ratio and the formation of a denser cement stone structure. Particular emphasis is placed on the synergistic combination of these mechanisms, which contributes to a comprehensive improvement in both the technological and performance properties of building materials. A separate analysis is provided of the current state of the fly ash resource base in Ukraine, which is characterised by an imbalance between significant accumulated volumes of waste and limited production of high-quality raw materials. The potential for using ash-slag dumps as an alternative source of mineral additives, provided they are appropriately processed, is substantiated. It is demonstrated that the use of fly ash helps to reduce the production costs of building materials, increase their durability and stimulate the development of resource-efficient technologies in the construction industry
