Enhanced Authentication and Access Control Using Deep Kronecker Networks and Quantum Key Distribution Techniques

Authentication and Access Control (AAC) verifies the user and grants permission to an authorized person. Existing techniques struggled to manage multiple complex passwords. Therefore, the new framework, Deep Kronecker Network with Addax Optimization Algorithm (DKN_AOA), is devised to enhance AAC. The network model combines the entities, such as data owner, data user, Cloud Service Provider (CSP), and authorization center. First, the security parameters are defined in the initialization phase, and secure communication of all the entities is ensured by the registration phase. Consequently, the authentication phase verifies the data owner and provides access to the data. Later, the secret key is generated by Deep Kronecker Network (DKN) in the Quantum Key Agreement (QKA) phase, and DKN is optimized by the Addax Optimization Algorithm (AOA). Next, the secret key is converted into a quantum key. Subsequently, the data protection phase protects the data from unauthorized access. Data users receive the data and decrypt it using secret keys. Finally, the data owner updates the new key. A novel DKN_AOA acquires a computational cost of 7.385 sec and memory usage of 35.8 MB for key size 8 and data size 500 MB. Furthermore, the DKN_AOA obtained an Authentication Success Rate (ASR) of 98.15% and a detection rate of 98.78% for key size 256 and data size 500 MB.
