Mechanically assisted symmetry reconstruction for extraordinary piezoelectricity

This dataset contains the experimental and computational data supporting the findings of the manuscript entitled "Mechanically Assisted Symmetry Reconstruction for Extraordinary Piezoelectricity". The data are organized to support the main figures and supplementary figures of the paper, and include: Piezoelectric and dielectric characterization: Raw and processed data for piezoelectric coefficient (d*₃₃), dielectric permittivity (ε₃₃/ε₀), and electric-field-induced strain measurements for PMN-0.33PT single crystals processed by direct current poling (DCP) and mechanically assisted poling (MAP) at various temperatures and stress levels. Structural characterization: Reciprocal space mapping (RSM) data for (202)pc Bragg reflections, including 3D and in-plane diffraction patterns for DCP- and MAP-processed samples, with extracted peak positions and lattice vector differences (ΔQL). Domain and optical characterization: Polarized light microscopy (PLM) images, second-harmonic generation (SHG) microscopy mappings, optical transmittance spectra, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images showing domain structures and crystal integrity before and after MAP treatment. Device testing and physiological data: Pulse-echo response and frequency spectra of the transparent ultrasound transducer (TUT), M-mode ultrasound images of the carotid artery, extracted blood pressure waveforms, and SpO₂ monitoring data from human subjects before and after exercise. Simulation and modeling data: Landau-Devonshire thermodynamic calculations, and acoustic field simulation data for the TUT. All data are provided in open, machine-readable formats (.csv, .txt, .tif, .jpg .mat, .bin, and .pywhere applicable) to facilitate reuse and independent verification.
