Stereoselective and Diastereospecific Aminosilylation and Hydrosilylation of Heterobicyclic Alkenes by Copper Catalysis Under Mild Conditions

An efficient and straightforward methodology for a stereoselective and diastereospecific aminosilylation and hydrosilylation of heterobicyclic norbornene derivatives is introduced. Emphasizing mild reaction conditions, the approach enables the functionalization of norbornene substrates with broad functional‐group tolerance. The versatility of the protocol across a diverse range of substrates is demonstrated, and various silylation reagents to achieve highly selective silylation products are employed. This work provides valuable insights into the selective modification of norbornene‐based compounds, expanding their potential applications in synthetic chemistry.
