Typological classification of antler spindle whorls from Final Bronze Age site of Frattesina (Rovigo, Veneto, Italy)
This dataset provides the typological plates of spindle whorls from the Late Bronze Age site of Frattesina, together with a catalogue of their occurrences. Its purpose is to make available a standardized and easily accessible reference tool for typological comparisons, quantitative analyses, and future research on textile production and material culture. The typological plates present a consistent classification of the spindle whorls, while the accompanying catalogue records the known occurrences of each type. The dataset also includes spindle whorls previously published in the literature, reorganized and integrated into a single corpus according to uniform classification criteria.
