Integrative Educational Outcomes: A Mixed Methods Study of Online Versus On-Ground Methods
The potence of online learning has been questioned, and providing quality education using this format is a subject of concern. For Christian institutions of higher education, the integration of the Christian worldview in education is foundational. For this study, ten years of course evaluations at a Christian university were collected. Two integrative questions from the course evaluations were used to examine differences in integrative outcomes between modalities. Analysis showed no significant difference between modalities and integration of faith and learning (IFL) outcomes. Results of the current study indicated online learning is a viable format through which integration can be accomplished in psychology courses.
