Emergent Three-Body Forces from Temporal Memory in History-Dependent Gravity (Paper LIII)
We demonstrate that the apparent three-nucleon force (3NF) emerges naturally as a non-additiveeffect of temporal memory within the History-Dependent Gravity (HDG) framework. Unlike conventional phenomenological approaches that require independent low-energy constants (e.g., cD,cEin chiral EFT), the HDG interaction depends explicitly on the total energy of the system via aspectral representation. The parameters of this spectral kernel are fixed entirely by the deuteronbinding energy in the 3S1 channel. We show that this global energy dependence induces irreduciblethree-body correlations, generating a binding energy shift of ∆Emem = −1.82 ± 0.18 MeV. Thisparameter-free prediction quantitatively accounts for the missing binding energy in light nuclei, yielding EB(3H) = −8.46 MeV and EB(3He) = −7.74 MeV, in agreement with experimental valuesat the sub-percent level. These results suggest a paradigm shift: many-body nuclear forces maynot be fundamental interactions, but rather macroscopic manifestations of the nonlocal temporalstructure of spacetime.
