Spillgain: A Sequel to Flight Path of a Fly With a Head/《
This report is a continuation of Flight Path of a Fly With a Head (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.21395658). Starting from a conceptual gap between "use" and "exploit" in Chinese, it coins the term 收溢(spillgain) to describe a cognitive acquisition pattern: when a tool performs its designed function normally, it spills out cognitive by-products beyond the user's intended boundary—such as ideas, frameworks, counterexamples, and conceptual structures—which the user recognizes as valuable and takes away. The report further analyzes the two-layer wall structure: the outer wall (lagging institutional classification systems) and the inner wall (psychological self-defense against acknowledging blurred originality boundaries), and how they reinforce each other in a closed loop. Spillgain is not a taxonomic category but an ethical concept—it is a mirror that reflects whether one is willing to admit that the boundary of one's own originality is more blurred than assumed. 本报告是《一只有头苍蝇的飞行路径》(Flight Path of a Fly With a Head, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.21395658)的续篇。
