The genome sequence of Pentaglottis sempervirens (L. Tausch ex L.H.Bailey, 1949) (Boraginales: Boraginaceae)
<ns5:p> We present a genome assembly of <ns5:italic>Pentaglottis sempervirens</ns5:italic> (green alkanet; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Boraginales; Boraginaceae). The assembly consists of two haplotypes with total lengths of 850.06 megabases and 955.53 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (93.98%) is scaffolded into 10 chromosomal pseudomolecules. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial sequence has a length of 327.47 kilobases and the plastid genome assembly has a length of 149.03 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland. </ns5:p>
