GEE Descriptors II: Pentapeptide Domain-Binding Analysis
Gradient electronegativity equation (GEE) descriptors represent a molecule by radial-shell sums of atomicproperties projected along directions from a molecular origin. This note extends the original electronegativityformulation to molecular mass, atomic number, and first ionization energy, producing a four-propertydescriptor space. A supplied set of 32 PubChem records has mean property totals of 391.42, 206.94,125.61, and 648.20, respectively. The author-supplied summary applies a 0.25 random-orientation factorto estimate a vector centroid of [97.86, 51.73, 31.40, 162.05]. Pentapeptides are ranked by standardizeddistance to this centroid, while composition-preserving permutation matrices test whether residue orderadds information beyond composition. Reported domain analyses favor ligand-binding/interface enrichment, but the outputs remain computational compatibility indices. A fully directional GEE calculation requiresexplicit three-dimensional coordinates, conformer rules, and independent biological validation.
