Dynamic Event‐Triggered Fixed‐Time Consensus Control for High‐Order Multi‐Agent Systems
ABSTRACT This article investigates the consensus control problem in multi‐agent systems (MASs) and proposes a fixed‐time dynamic event‐triggered consensus control (FxTDETC) scheme. Based solely on the assumption that each agent is controllable, rather than relying on the full‐row‐rank condition of the input matrix , a fixed‐time state observer (FxTSO) is used to estimate the leader's state more rapidly. The FxTDETC scheme introduces a dynamic event‐triggered (DET) mechanism, reducing the number of controller updates and thereby conserving system energy. Furthermore, the proposed protocol ensures consensus within a finite time and provides an upper bound on the convergence time that is independent of the initial conditions. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed FxTDETC scheme is validated through numerical simulations.
