A Proof of Finite-Time Singularities for the 3D Navier–Stokes Equations

This study investigates the possibility of finite-time singularity formation in the three-dimensional incompressible Navier--Stokes equations by employing the hierarchical complex-number system and the Second Katsumoto Equation. Instead of treating the velocity field as the primary variable, the framework introduces the hierarchical structure $(K_{2}, K_{3}, K_{4})$ based on imaginary-entropy dynamics, enabling a geometric description of vortex, torsion, and diffusion concentration. In particular, we focus on a candidate singular structure in which vortices converge toward a single point from all directions and subsequently eject in a jet-like manner. We examine conditions under which each component of the hierarchical complex numbers may diverge in finite time. This paper aims to construct initial data that generate such concentration and lead to blow-up in the Navier--Stokes equations.
