MOSAIC Model: Technical Specification of the Multi-Omics Structured and Integrated Conceptual Model
MOSAIC Model (Multi-Omics Structured and Integrated Conceptual Model) v1.0 is a conceptual data model for representing multi-omics knowledge in a coherent and extensible way. This documentation specifies the model’s classes, attributes, inheritance relationships, associations, enumerations, and JSON instantiation examples. It covers genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, chemical, reaction, pathway, anatomical, clinical, bibliographic, and database-related concepts. The examples connect model elements to public biomedical databases, ontologies, and standards through accessions, direct record URLs, and bibliographic references. This Zenodo record contains the reference PDF for version 1.0 of the MOSAIC Model.
