Endoscopic Trans-axillary Excision of a Supraclavicular Lipoma: A Patient-centric Access
Large lipomas located in highly visible anatomical sites can present a significant cosmetic concern for patients. Such lesions in the supraclavicular region are uncommonly encountered and standard open excisions typically leave prominent and aesthetically unfavourable scars. We successfully addressed these aesthetic concerns in a 39-year-old lady with a large right supraclavicular lipoma using an endoscopic ipsilateral trans-axillary approach. This minimally invasive strategy helped us restore the normal regional symmetry while completely concealing the surgical incisions within the axilla.
