Development and Validation of a Wetland Rapid Assessment Method for Illinois, USA
This is the scoring sheet and guidance document for a wetland rapid assessment method for Illinois (RAIL). The RAIL is a Level 2 assessment and can be completed in less than 30 minutes in the field. No specialized training is required to use the RAIL; however, basic knowledge of wetlands related terminology is required. It can be used in a variety of different weltand types across Illinois and works acoss asessors of varied skill and experience.
