Applications of the phosphine ligands to the challenging cross-coupling reactions

Palladium-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling is one of the well-known methods for the construction of C(sp2)-C(sp2) bond, and is always used in modern medicinal chemistry. However, the asymmetric version of this reaction is considered very challenging and has not been well-developed. Inspired by chiral phosphine ligands and chiral NHCs, a new series of ligands will be developed and applied in forming axially chiral biaryls.

Abstract

Palladium-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling is one of the well-known methods for the construction of C(sp2)-C(sp2) bond, and is always used in modern medicinal chemistry. However, the asymmetric version of this reaction is considered very challenging and has not been well-developed. Inspired by chiral phosphine ligands and chiral NHCs, a new series of ligands will be developed and applied in forming axially chiral biaryls.
