PFUSRC-110 Topological Reinterpretation of Weak Interaction and Higgs Mechanism — Layer-Tunneling Symmetry Breaking and Mass Emergence via Topological Vacuum Condensate

The Standard Model successfully provides phenomenological fits for elementary particle mass generation through spontaneous symmetry breaking of the Higgs field, adequately explaining the massive W/Z bosons, massless photon, and hierarchical Yukawa couplings for fermions. However, three fundamental ontological questions have remained unanswered: Why must the symmetry break spontaneously? What is the geometric origin of the Higgs vacuum expectation value? Why do mass spectra across different particle generations exhibit discrete hierarchical distributions? This paper, grounded in the PFUSRC 11-dimensional triple coaxial 45° bicone steady-state topology, redefines the weak interaction as a constrained tunneling channel of four-dimensional topological flow variables (TFVs) between adjacent conical layers of the bicone. The Higgs mechanism is not an independent scalar field arising from quantum vacuum fluctuations, but rather a topological vacuum condensate formed by large-scale collective locking of high-dimensional TFVs. The electroweak symmetry breaking is essentially a topological channel asymmetry induced by inter-layer angular constraints of the bicone structure: the fully coaxial closed configuration corresponds to the unbroken electroweak unified phase, while the asymmetric opening/closing of channels under observational slicing corresponds to the low-energy electroweak symmetry breaking. The masses of W and Z bosons originate from flow-variable retardation caused by topological locking during tunneling, strictly satisfying the steady-state criterion of the locking ratio η ≥ η_crit – a specific application of the universal mass-generation rule of the PFUSRC framework. The photon remains massless because it propagates unimpeded along the central axis of the bicone with zero angular obstruction. The three-generation fermion mass hierarchies correspond to different topological anchoring depths along the radial layers of the bicone. This paper completes the full closed-loop unification of all four fundamental interactions – electromagnetism, strong force, gravity, and weak force – within the PFUSRC bicone topological framework, laying the final topological cornerstone of the Standard Model. It also provides systemically self-consistent topological explanations for the existential meaning of the Higgs boson, the vacuum energy density problem, and the electroweak energy scale hierarchy.
