A Novel Decipherment Approach for the Voynich Manuscript: 180° Rotation Analysis and Graphemic Correspondence with Székely-Magyar Runic Script (Rovásírás)
The Voynich Manuscript (Beinecke MS 408) has eluded decryption attempts by the most advanced cryptanalysts since its rediscovery in 1912. This paper introduces a novel methodological approach demonstrating that the manuscript was not composed in its current visual orientation. By applying a complete 180-degree geometric inversion (vertical rotation) to the text blocks, the graphemes reveal a concealed numerical matrix that mirrors the structure of low-entropy binary sequences. Mapping these numerical patterns onto the phonemes and ligatures of the Central European Székely-Magyar Rovásírás (Old Hungarian script) reveals a coherent agglutinative text in archaic medieval Hungarian. Preliminary results applied to the pharmaceutical and botanical sections yield a continuous glossary of medical terms related to the preparation of distillates, nutritional remedies, and the therapeutic use of botanical roots.
