Radioactive Decay as Wave Destacking: Magic-Number Imbalance and the Four Modes in the Alpha Void Information Ontology Paper 12

This paper develops a pure-wave account of radioactive decay within the Alpha Void Information Ontology (AVIO). All persistent matter is treated as nested prograde and retrograde deviation waves locked by integer cycle closure around Alpha Void Tears. Stable nuclei occupy magic-number configurations that minimise total Greer Tax. Nuclei that carry excess neutron-like or proton-like wave content, or that are simply too heavy, possess elevated Greer Tax and decay by destacking into lower-cost arrangements. A uniform description is given of the four common modes — alpha emission, beta-minus, beta-plus and electron capture — together with a layer-by-layer derivation of the Greer Tax that recovers the electron, proton and neutron masses and supplies the corresponding decay Q-values. No point particles are required; only continuous deviation waves and the drive toward minimal locked-energy configurations. The framework re-expresses magic-number stability, the Pauli principle, and the energetics of the four decay channels as consequences of alternating-polarity integer cycle closure and reclamation pressure.
