Replication and Verification Note: The Efficient Allocation of Social Status under Wage Compression

This technical note documents the computational verification supporting the paper “The Efficient Allocation of Social Status under Wage Compression.” It records the software environment, numerical tolerances, reproducibility manifest, and independent checks of the paper’s graph and implementation algebra, respect-transmission results, composition-channel comparative statics, welfare cost of cycle tension, and prestige-scarcity threshold. The accompanying replication package contains the Python source code, pinned software environment, pre-computed figure data, and scripts required to regenerate all four figures and rerun the complete numerical verification suite. The full pipeline can be executed using run_all.py. The note and replication package are provided as transparency and reproducibility aids; the analytical proofs remain in the paper.
