The Science and Design of Conditions: Foundational Principles for a Discipline of Human Flourishing
The Science and Design of Conditions introduces Condition Design, a proposed interdisciplinary field concerned with the observation, measurement, and intentional design of conditions that influence human flourishing. The manuscript proposes that human function depends not only on individual ability but also on the conditions that shape access to human capacities. It introduces the conceptual framework: Conditions → Access → Human Function → Observable Outcomes → Flourishing Version 0.1 establishes the foundational definitions, first principles, conceptual boundaries, and initial research agenda for the emerging discipline.
