Off-Diagonal Information Dissipation — A Probe for High-Energy Physics
The higher-dimensional unification framework of the Order Parameter Spacetime Theory (Paper [4]) geometrizes gauge forces as the off-diagonal coupling between the internal space metric and the four-dimensional metric. This framework allows the existence of off-diagonal information dissipation terms Υ_μα between four-dimensional spacetime and internal space, which can in principle modify the propagator of gauge bosons. Motivated by this theoretical possibility, this paper searches for traces of off-diagonal information dissipation using publicly available LHC data on Z and W boson widths. Paper [4] has already presented the block-diagonal form of the higher-dimensional information dissipation tensor and explicitly stated that off-diagonal terms are "allowed in principle" while their complete analysis is left for "future work". Hence, this paper is positioned as an exploratory search—building on the physical motivation provided by the theoretical framework, it directly searches for anomalies beyond the Standard Model in existing data without assuming a specific coupling form, and then tests whether these anomalies are qualitatively consistent with the expectations of off-diagonal dissipation. This paper analyzes public data such as LHC Z/W boson widths and LHCb rare B-meson decay branching fractions, and evaluates the sensitivity of future electron-positron colliders (FCC-ee) to off-diagonal dissipation effects. It is also pointed out that phenomena such as the LHCb B-meson anomalies, the CDF W mass anomaly, and others may be manifestations of off-diagonal information dissipation at different energy scales. If FCC-ee reaches its design precision and finds no width modifications beyond the Standard Model, the detectable effects of off-diagonal information dissipation under the assumption ℓ_KK > TeV⁻¹ will be excluded; if anomalies are observed and qualitatively consistent with off-diagonal dissipation, the higher-dimensional unification framework will receive experimental support.
