Media Interpretation No. 1: Replacing Vulnerability & Attachment with Personal Growth

Abstract: This chapter is my interpretation of ILLENIUM's Nightlight, which reflects themes of the sublime through its setting and emotional vulnerability, where the music video's character experiences internal struggle and mental looping cycles throughout her journey across a rough landscape. The elements in the music video symbolize protection, ego shields, and movement beyond comfort zones, representing recovery from a sense of dependency and limerent obstacles along the path.
