Cosmic Acceleration from a Holographic Surface Imbalance

We present a theoretical framework in which the late-time accelerated expansion of the Universe is driven by a holographic surface imbalance rather than by a bare cosmological constant. The surface is identified with the apparent horizon. A dynamical imbalance variable I quantifies the departure from holographic equipartition between N_sur and N_bulk, following Padmanabhan’s approach. The system is formulated with saturated nonlinearities that guarantee long-term numerical stability. After light calibration, the model achieves max|Δμ| ≈ 0.0235 mag up to z = 14, q₀ ≈ −0.556, and w(0) ≈ −1.025, while remaining free of the most common linear instabilities. This is a preprint version. The LaTeX source file is also provided.
