Zero-G Personal Glovebox

This device helps solve several contamination and filter cleaning issues. A clear foldable plastic cube 45 cm/side (i.e. stadium backpacks) with a 15cm iris port in each side. This will allow astronauts personal grooming or potentially messy, crumbley food items or experiments of opportunity to be opened, mixed, sorted and manipulated in a sealed container that can then be easily cleaned and vacuumed without particles contaminating the rest of the ship.

Abstract

This device helps solve several contamination and filter cleaning issues. A clear foldable plastic cube 45 cm/side (i.e. stadium backpacks) with a 15cm iris port in each side. This will allow astronauts personal grooming or potentially messy, crumbley food items or experiments of opportunity to be opened, mixed, sorted and manipulated in a sealed container that can then be easily cleaned and vacuumed without particles contaminating the rest of the ship.
