Unveiling Hidden Heterogeneity: How Quantile Methods Shape Performance‐Dependent Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12 and 13 Interactions in BRICS Plus Economies
ABSTRACT This study examines the linkage between SDG12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG13 (Climate Action) in the BRICS plus countries from 2000 to 2024. The outcomes reveal that: (i) SDG12 positively affects SDG13 across different performance quantiles. (ii) SDG13 has a positive correlation with SDG12 across different performance quantiles and periods. (iii) SDG13 positively affects SDG12 across different performance quantiles. However, the strength of impacts and correlation varies significantly across different quantiles and periods.
