ALLFROMAIR® TERRA² Technical Addendum 7: Wind-Assisted Aeraulic Drive, Power-Inlet Pressure-Recovery Cowling, Reduced-Component ECO Operation & Goldilocks Site-Selection Framework

Version 8 revises Section 5.4 of version 7 (24 July 2026). All other content and every numerical figure are unchanged. Where no grid connection exists, off-grid supply is a site-matched photovoltaic array with a matched battery pack — no rotating machinery in the energy path and negligible maintenance — with a small rotor dimensioned against the site's own mean wind as the alternative where wind is the stronger resource or continuous night operation is required. A further disclosure is added: in an intermittently powered atmospheric water generator the buffer is the product-water tank, not the battery, so the battery is dimensioned for the control load of approximately 1.1 kW rather than the full plant load of 26–29 kW. Specific energy of the plant is 4.95 kWh per m³ of product water. The external rotor of approximately 600 m² proposed in version 7 is withdrawn as disproportionate to a 12–15 kW load — 5.5 times oversized at 8 m/s. The physics corrections introduced in version 7 stand unchanged and are restated here in full. Versions 4 and 6 claimed that a passive sail cowling of approximately 600 m² reduced the wind speed required for fan-free operation from about 16 m/s to 5 m/s by collecting wind kinetic power. A passive convergent cowling cannot achieve this: the driving pressure available to any passive intake is the free-stream dynamic pressure ½ρv², which is independent of capture area. Version 6 did not correct this — it replaced 1.8 m/s with 5 m/s in the fan-free descriptions, making the erroneous threshold internally consistent rather than removing it. That error, the electromagnetic regeneration formulation, and several mutually inconsistent psychrometric figures are corrected. All superseded values are listed in Appendix A. Nine disclosures are established as prior art: Wind-Assisted Aeraulic Drive by superposition of free-stream dynamic pressure on the system pressure balance; Power-Inlet Pressure-Recovery Cowling; Regenerative Electromagnetic Braking recovering surplus pressure above system resistance; Marine-Grade Self-Locking Storm Dampers; Reduced-Component ECO Configuration — omission of the compressor and of HX2, the reversible condenser/evaporator, which moves fan-free operation from unreachable to attainable within the storm-protection envelope; Extended Anticubic Dimensioning; site-matched solar and wind supply; water storage as the energy buffer; and the Goldilocks Site-Selection Framework. Every water production figure derives from a single stated rule and the Magnus equation and is reproducible by the reader. Where an input is not established, results are stated as bounded ranges rather than point values. Published as open prior art. Abstract

Patent pending: SE 2530864-4 · SE 2530806-5 · SE 2530843-8 · SE 2530868-5. Supersedes Addendum 7 versions 1–7.
