The Impact of AI and Machine Learning on Recruitment, Performance Management and Employee Behavior Prediction

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are transforming Human Resource Management (HRM) by improving the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of HR functions such as recruitment, performance management, and workforce analytics. The primary objective of this study is to examine the impact of AI and ML on recruitment processes, employee performance evaluation, and workforce behavior prediction in organizations. The study adopted a descriptive research design and collected primary data through a structured questionnaire from 50 respondents (n = 50) using the convenience sampling method. The collected data were analyzed using percentage analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and chi-square tests to identify relationships between the study variables. The findings revealed that a majority of respondents perceived AI and ML as effective tools for improving recruitment efficiency, reducing hiring time, enhancing the accuracy of candidate selection, and supporting performance evaluation through data-driven insights. The statistical analysis also indicated a positive association between the adoption of AI and ML technologies and improvements in HR decision-making and employee performance management. The study concludes that AI and ML significantly enhance HR practices by enabling faster, smarter, and more objective decision-making while contributing to organizational productivity and employee development. The implementation of AI-driven and Machine Learning-based solutions in Human Resource Management supports evidence-based decision-making and enhances overall organizational effectiveness. These technologies help HR professionals identify workforce trends, improve talent management strategies, and create personalized employee experiences. AI-powered tools assist in workforce planning, training and development, employee engagement, and retention by providing accurate insights based on real-time data. By reducing manual tasks and minimizing human bias, Intelligent technologies contribute to fairer and more transparent HR practices. In the age of digital transformation transformation, Organizations are making greater use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) within Personnel Management to optimize workforce efficiency, enhance employee experiences, and contribute to sustained organizational growth and performance.
