Hydrophobic Single‐Walled Carbon Nanotube‐Nanosilicon Dioxide Transparent Conductive Film and Its Application in Photovoltaic Dust Removal

The inevitable accumulation of dust on photovoltaic (PV) panel surfaces severely affects the solar energy conversion rate. In recent years, electrostatic adsorption dedusting based on transparent electrodes has become a popular research topic in the PV field, and transparent conductive film (TCF) materials with self‐cleaning properties have become the preferred solution for PV dust removal. This article presents a hybrid method combining electrostatic adsorption dedusting with superhydrophobic coating to prepare a hydrophobic multifunctional single‐walled carbon nanotube‐nanosilicon dioxide (SWCNT‐SiO 2 ) TCF. The results showed that the index K A is 0.90, the light transmittance is 91.44%, and the sheet resistance is 41.80 kΩ/sq when the sol mass fraction of SWCNTs‐SiO 2 TCFs is 10 wt%. After electrostatic adsorption dedusting tests based on these TCFs, most of the dust was removed, and the conversion efficiency of the PV panels increased to 95.13% of that in a clean state. Simultaneously, the water contact angle reaches a maximum of 150.11°, showing superhydrophobicity, and the self‐cleaning rate reaches 93.05% under laboratory simulation conditions. This study is expected to support the optimization and innovation of PV panel dust removal methods and the further development of the PV industry.
