Modeling Massive Charged Compact Stars: Anisotropy and Regular Bardeen Geometry

In this work, we construct a singularity free model of a charged anisotropic compact star by solving the Einstein-Maxwell field equations within the framework of general relativity. The interior spacetime is developed under the Karmarkar condition for embedding class I, allowing a systematic relationship between the metric potentials. A specific choice of the metric function together with a Gaussian-type density profile leads to closed-form expressions for the thermodynamic variables and electromagnetic field. The interior solution is smoothly matched to the exterior Bardeen regular black hole geometry through appropriate junction conditions, ensuring continuity of the metric potentials and their derivatives at the stellar boundary. To examine physical viability, we apply the model to the massive pulsar PSR J0740+6620 and determine suitable parameter ranges using causality constraints. The obtained solution exhibits regular and monotonic behavior of energy density and pressures, with radial pressure vanishing at the surface. The anisotropy factor remains positive throughout the configuration, supporting stability against gravitational collapse. All energy conditions are satisfied within the stellar interior. Furthermore, the mass function, compactness parameter, and surface redshift remain within acceptable bounds, consistent with Buchdahls limit and observational requirements. Our results demonstrate that the combined effects of electric charge, anisotropy, and regular Bardeen geometry provide a physically consistent and stable description of ultra dense compact stellar objects. The proposed model may contribute to a deeper understanding of charged relativistic stars and their astrophysical implications.
