From Fold to Materials: An Exact, Parameter-Free and Machine-Closed Reconstruction of Materials Science from Smithian Fold Theory
From Fold to Materials is the standalone paper for the completed Materials Science branch of the third clean-room reconstruction of Smithian Fold Theory (SFT). It documents all 84 required laws across measurement and identity; crystals and quasicrystals; defects and microstructure; electronic and semiconductor organization; superconducting, superfluid and topological response; mechanical, thermal, magnetic and optical response; material classes; processing and degradation; functional materials and lifecycle organization. The complete 84-law prediction surface was cryptographically sealed before any external source identity was selected. The branch executes 21,504 exact candidates and decisions, with 84 unique survivors, 84 depth-independent certificates, 336 adverse controls, 84 implementation-distinct reconstructions and 84 post-seal NIST/BIPM correspondence checks. All 84 dependency graphs reach the premise-free root theorem. No axiom, free or fitted parameter, numerical zero, negative proof quantity, irrational or imaginary proof value, floating proof arithmetic, imported constitutive equation, target-selected law or application result is admitted. Five structural results receive explicit exact-count treatment: six simple-cubic neighbours, periodic rotation orders one, two, three, four and six with five excluded, seven crystal systems, fourteen Bravais classes and three acoustic branches. Specimen- and method-dependent property magnitudes remain conditional records and are not misrepresented as universal constants. The accompanying open release contains the archival PDF as the default preview, the complete Markdown manuscript, every claim package and engine receipt, source snapshots, evidence maps, executable derivations, independent validators, tests and checksums.
