Compensation Without Recovery: A Conceptual Framework for the Gap Between Communicative Satisfaction and the Development of Oral Social Communication Skills

Part1: This version 1.1.0 includes a revised presentation of the theoretical framework with the addition of conceptual figures that clarify the Compensation–Development Gap (CDG) model. The newly added Figure 1 illustrates the divergence between compensatory satisfaction and oral communication development over time, while Figure 2 provides a visual overview of the five-stage CDG process: Deficit → Substitution → Satisfaction → Perceived Resolution → Latent Deficit Persistence. These additions improve the structural clarity and accessibility of the proposed framework without changing the core theoretical propositions, references, or conceptual scope of the original manuscript. This is an updated version of the original conceptual article, with enhanced visual representation of the model for research communication and future empirical investigation.
